Hear from Waihi residents, including a real estate expert, about the realities of toxic gold mining and the negative impacts on property values. Get updated on the threat to the Whangamata area including Parakiwai, Onemana and Opoutere and what we can do to protect this special area from this toxic, boom and bust industry.

Speakers include: Rob McCarthy, Waihi resident and real estate expert, Collette Spalding, Waihi resident and Distressed Resident’s Action Team Coordinator & Catherine Delahunty MP and long time advocate for protection of Coromandel from mining.

Maps of areas under threat will be available.
