An enthusiastic crowd heard from inspiring speakers, Coromandel Watchdog co-ordinator Renee Annan, Waihi residents advocate Collette Spalding, former co-leader of the Green Party and Kauaeranga Valley resident Jeanette Fitzsimons and Member of Parliament for the Green Party, Catherine Delahunty.
Tangata whenua of Waihi and other representatives from Coromandel communities also spoke.
